Born in 1987 in Tbilisi, at the age of 6 David Grigoryan and his family moved to Odesa, Ukraine due to the Georgian civil war. At 16, David picked up a camera and has not put it down for 20 years since.

He works primarily in the intersection of street photography and political and ethnographic documentary. David is a participant of multiple group and solo shows in Ukraine, Germany, Italy, and Georgia.
