Fotografia Gallery & Indigo Magazine present Poster Painter Arsen Beriashvili, an exhibition of iconic posters by Arsen Beriashvili, captured through the lens of Guram Tsibakhashvili.
After World War II, Beriashvili began working at the Apollo Cinema. His hand-painted posters soon adorned cinema facades across Tbilisi, becoming a defining element of the city’s Soviet-era visual culture. While his works lit up the streets, the artist himself remained largely unseen.
This exhibition draws from Special Edition N1 by Indigo Magazine – a bilingual photo album that gathers surviving works, memories, and the first biographical study of this overlooked figure.
