Images from Africa series alongside vivid, surreal collages from In My Garden and Primavera.
Artist Bio: Magda Hueckel is an interdisciplinary visual artist rooted in photography, stage design, and experimental visual storytelling. A graduate of the Gdańsk Academy of Fine Arts, she studied in Bratislava and St. Gallen, and later co-founded the photography duo hueckelserafin in 2002.
Her body of work engages with the fragility of existence – whether through documentary self-portraits, surreal theatrical imagery, or her travel-driven series like Anima and Organic. Hueckel’s photography has been exhibited widel – in Poland and internationally, including at Tate Britain and major photo festivals.
