In Tamar, Where Are You?, he collaborated with notable Georgian photographers and writers including Ana Kordzaia‑Samadashvili, Dina Oganova, Giorgi Shengelia, Vakho Khetaguri, Yuri Mechitov and others. The contributors share their personal stories and visual perspectives – each accompanied by Oetker‑Kast’s images – for a dialogue that reveals the complexities of contemporary Georgia.

The book won a Bronze Medal at the 2018 German Photobook Award in the Self‑Publishing category and was a finalist in the 2019 Lucie Photo Book Prize (Independent Prize, New York).

Artist Bio: Andreas Oetker‑Kast is a German documentary photographer based in Kiel, formerly a sociologist and communications professional. He turned to photography in 2004 and has focused on long-term documentary projects. His work has received numerous grants and exhibitions internationally.
