Fotografia Gallery is the first limited edition print gallery in Tbilisi. The Gallery serves as a social and educational hub for photography enthusiasts in Georgia and the region. We’ve been promoting local photographers and making international connections with social, historical, contemporary, and conceptual photography, and mixed media artwork since 2017.
Our gallery is a tribute to the enduring tradition of Georgian photography. Georgian photographers have excelled at capturing history in real-time, through the Soviet era and renewed independence. Icons like Giorgi Tsagareli, Guram Tsibakhashvili, and Yuri Mechitov documented pivotal moments during Georgia’s social and political transformations, providing invaluable insights into social and cultural developments. Our collection proudly preserves these stories, offering glimpses into Georgia’s past while also showcasing contemporary artists who are pushing the boundaries of photographic expression. From timeless documentary work to cutting-edge fashion, street, and conceptual photography, as well as striking landscape and portraiture work, Fotografia Gallery celebrates a diverse array of artistic visions. We also work to popularize and share photography with a growing audience—as a shop for books, film, and accessories, and forum for educational activities for the photographic community.
